Bridge Clinic
Located at the University of Kansas Medical Center, the Bridge Clinic is a first step in treatment following your child’s Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis.
ABA services for your child
Our clinicians, made up of a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and providers skilled in autism intervention, will deliver short-term behavioral intervention and ABA services for your child. Parents can expect that their child will receive individualized programming based on a skills assessment. In addition, function based treatment plans will be developed to decrease challenging behaviors.
Parent Training
Research suggests that training parents to implement procedures like those used in a clinical setting, enhances treatments effects and generalization of skills and behaviors. Parents are expected to attend parent training sessions once a week for one hour at a time. Once your child’s programming goals are established at the Bridge Clinic, a weekly appointment for OASIS parent training will be discussed and scheduled.
Schedule
Bridge clinic services are 5 days a week, 3 hours per day. Morning sessions run 8-11 AM and afternoon session 12-3 PM. This clinic is for children up to 6 years of age.
