What should I expect?

The OASIS Behavior Specialist training gives trainees in depth knowledge and understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis. This training is currently formatted entirely online with an interactive lecture/clinical experience. This training offered meets the State of Kansas’ training requirements for an Autism Specialist. Participants who complete the training will receive a certificate of completion.

Training Overview

Behavior Specialist (BS): A two-day training for individuals who have extensive experience in Applied Behavior Analysis or operate as a behavioral consultant. Currently this training is delivered all online and consists of interactive online tutorials as well as interactive lecture and clinic. This training meets the State of Kansas’ training requirements for Autism Specialist. Please note that you must have a masters degree in order to become an Autism Specialist in the State of Kansas.

Cost of the training: $400

Case providers, consultants, supervisors, and Board Certifified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)

What topics will be covered?

Behavioral intervention plans, function of behavior, peer networks, criterion referenced assessments, and program development
