Bridge Clinic
Located at the University of Kansas Medical Center, the Bridge Clinic is a first step in treatment following your child’s Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis.
ABA services for your child
Our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and autism intervention specialists provide behavioral intervention and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. Your child will receive individualized programming tailored to their strengths and needs. ABA services can increase communication and develop other skills while decreasing those that may hinder learning.
Parent Training
Research suggests that training parents to implement procedures like those used in a clinical setting, enhances treatments effects and generalization of skills and behaviors. Parents are expected to attend parent training sessions once a week for one hour at a time. Once your child’s programming goals are established at the Bridge Clinic, a weekly appointment for OASIS parent training will be discussed and scheduled.
Schedule
Bridge clinic services are 5 days a week, 3 hours per day. Morning sessions run 8-11 AM and afternoon session 12-3 PM. This clinic is for children up to 6 years of age.
