Alexa Ymker, B.S., RBT

Alexa received her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas in 2025. During her undergraduate training, she provided services as a Registered Behavior Technician at KU and within the Specialized Behavior Intervention Unit at the Munroe-Meyer Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. She also collaborated on research focused on the Enhanced Choice Model, functional behavioral assessment, and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These combined experiences provided her with hands-on experience working with a variety of populations.

Before joining the team, Alexa served as a Clinical Systems Liaison at Encore Support Services, where she gained insight into the operational and systems-level components of applied behavior analysis, including care coordination and service delivery processes. Alexa joined the Kansas Center for Autism Research and Training in June 2026, where she supports caregivers and service providers by sharing foundational knowledge of behavioral science and its core principles.
