Biography

Christopher Engler is a native of Cozad, Nebraska and attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska for his undergraduate degree. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he pursued higher education at the University of Nebraska—Omaha. In May 2017, he received his Master's degree in Psychology, with a concentration in applied behavior analysis. Chris worked in the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe Meyer Institute from June 2014 to December 2019 with a clinical focus on the assessment and treatment of children with feeding disorders. In January 2020, he transitioned to Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Jersey to help start the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Intensive Program. In January 2024, Chris joined the team at the Kansas Center for Autism Research and Training within the University of Kanas Medical Center. Currently, he focuses on training service providers on the foundations of applied behavior analysis while also supporting caregivers with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other intellectual or developmental disabilities.
