Biography

Vanessa Snyder is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Since 2008, Vanessa has provided in-home, center-based, and school-based support to providers and parents of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In 2016, Vanessa joined the Kansas Center for Autism Research and Training at the University of Kansas Medical Center where she continues to play a pivotal role in the development and coordination of the OASIS trainings. Currently, she operates as the Clinical Program Manager and oversees services provided to families of children with ASD and other related disorders. 

Vanessa Snyder received her undergraduate education at the City University of New York (CUNY) Hunter College and Hawai'i Pacific University where she received a Bachelors degree in Psychology.  She then earned her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hawai’i Pacific University.
